This job is a new building out near Torrey Pines Golf Course.
It was scheduled with (2) 10-fan towers which each have a dual Danfoss VFD that are located in the mechanical room. The dual VFDs for each tower are in a single enclosure, pre-wired, and set up to alternate acting as full stand-by drives.
The total load on this job was 4,800 GPM, 90’F to 80’F. We can vary in flow anywhere from 1,000 GPM thru one tower to 6,000 GPM thru two towers. Running two towers at a low RPM for anything over 2,000 GPM will be a huge savings in BHP, run at a much lower dBA (decibel level), and leave less deposits in the fill media. This is a great savings in Electrical costs and runs at a much lower sound level.
